ABOUT US
MLD Pharmaceutical Waste Solutions LLC is a compliance-driven environmental solutions company specializing in pharmaceutical waste lifecycle management, regulatory coordination, and risk mitigation for healthcare providers across the United States.
Founded by Renata Machado Lima Donnici, a pharmaceutical and environmental compliance professional with more than two decades of experience in highly regulated pharmaceutical operations, MLD provides healthcare facilities with structured, compliant, and environmentally responsible waste-management systems.
Healthcare providers face increasingly complex pharmaceutical and hazardous waste regulations, yet many facilities lack the operational systems and specialized expertise necessary to maintain consistent compliance. MLD addresses this compliance gap through waste-stream analysis, SOP implementation, lifecycle oversight, workforce training, documentation controls, and regulatory support.
Unlike traditional waste-disposal companies, MLD operates as a compliance and coordination platform, partnering with licensed transporters and authorized treatment facilities while focusing on regulatory alignment, traceability, operational integration, and environmental responsibility.
Through a cradle-to-grave approach, MLD supports healthcare organizations in reducing operational and environmental risks while promoting sustainability, regulatory compliance, and safer pharmaceutical waste-management practices

Throughout her career in the pharmaceutical industry, including leadership roles in GMP – regulated manufacturing environments, Renata developed extensive expertise in regulatory compliance, environmental risk mitigation, waste-stream management, and operational coordination.
She played a key role in the implementation and successful regulatory approval os a GMP – certified pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, as well as in the compliant handling and disposal of pharmaceutical waste, including controlled substances and hazardous materials.

In addition to her extensive pharmaceutical-industry experience, Renata completed U.S.-based environmental and hazardous waste training, including OSHA Certified Environmental Specialist training and HAZWOPER 40-hour certification, further strengthening MLD’s compliance-driven approach to healthcare waste management.
